PIVOTPoint WNC Expands Youth Programs
PIVOTPoint WNC has been approved for its second multi-year contract supporting at-risk youth in Buncombe County. This will be the 6th & 7th consecutive years of bringing evidence-based, internationally accredited adventure programs to at-risk youth. We work in partnership with Asheville City and Buncombe County schools, counselors, and court diversion programs to help support students pivot their path. To help keep this program expansion 100% subsidized to our community members, we’re hosting our 3rd annual golf tournament – The Daniel Summerlin Impact Invitational!
Asheville Wellness Tours – Blue Ghost Firefly Tours – NEW Private Location
We’re so excited to launch our 2025 Blue Ghost Firefly night hikes and overnight retreats. For two weeks only, mid-May, our guests will enjoy exclusive access to 900+ acres of private conservation land – an incredible opportunity to escape the crowds and enjoy the magic in peace. Guests can choose a 3 hour night hike or overnight retreat that includes dinner, breakfast, accommodations, and a guided forest bathing night walk. Whether joining for a few hours or the full night, we’ll immerse in the magic of the forest at night. From sunset and starry skies to fireflies, we’ll marvel at Mother Nature’s light show as we explore the forest hoping to encounter the elusive Blue Ghost firefly species!
Adventure Center of Asheville Spring Break & Summer Day Camps
At the Adventure Center of Asheville we offer Day Camps for Spring Break and Summer. Spring Break Day Camp ages 8-11, April 14-18; Summer Adventure Day Camps ages 8-13, June 16-Aug 22; Kolo Bike Park Day Camps ages 6-15, June 16-Aug 22. Steep Canyon Rangers + Outdoor Business Showcase – Vending Opportunity for Members
THURSDAY – MAY 29TH from 4PM-8PM there will be a FREE Community Concert featuring Steep Canyon Rangers (Main Show Starts @ 8pm) at Packs Square. There will be markets, kids activities, food / drinks, and an OUTDOOR BUSINESS SHOWCASE that will take place at the TOP of Packs Square around the water fountain.
This VENDOR APPLICATION FORM is for OBA MEMBERS to apply to participate in the OUTDOOR BUSINESS SHOWCASE. The cost to vend is FREE, so please apply below. Focus will be placed on EXPERIENTIAL ACTIVATIONS, but all are welcome to apply. There are 30 SPOTS total for the Outdoor Business Showcase, so please apply yearly to get a spot!
